I just wrote a comment but don't think it got through. I don't understand the system. I'm so thrilled for you to learn this great history and culture. It is so important to learn that before we pass judgment on things and people. We live in a very different culture and times, Mountain State of America 2010.
It is much like reading the Old Testiment like Isaiah. If we interpret the scriptures based on our view of the world, it seems unreal or unacceptable. But if you lived in those times under their laws and culture, it then makes sense. I always wanted to go where you are.
Your perspective of this place in life and history will forever be enriched. Enjoy this remarkable experience. Love you..Grandpa Luke
Hey Team! Since you are interested in this blog that means you are working to “Be who you were meant to be”. And that means you are on my TEAM. This has been a journey for me and it will continue to be. I was always concerned about what I looked like growing up and it was always a struggle. However, through my Bachelors degree in Exercise Science: Fitness and Wellness I came to realize that it is a lifestyle and you have to take one step at a time. Then as you focus on becoming healthier, looks don't matter. It is more about how you feel. After receiving my Bachelors at BYU I became nationally certified as a Personal trainer through ACSM, and am now working for the Idaho Athletic Club as one of their Aerobics Coordinators. I have been teaching aerobics now for almost 6 years and love every minute of it. My life is centered around my husband Joshua and my little boy Ian and becoming who I was meant to be.
I love reading about your latest adventure!! What a once in a life time experience! Hope you're doing well!
